Politicians decide to make top titles eternal

I reckon the title "honourable" must add to the prices that can be charged for "consulting fees".

Why don't we all just call each other "Honourable" from now on to nullify this motion that the UDP cretins are bringing to the LA. John: "Good morning, Hon. Bill." Bill: "Hello Hon. John. How's your father, Hon. Jack?" John: "He's well. He's up the hill with my mother, Hon. Jill."

Come on ya'll!  You know that you can't go out on the book tour and the guest speaker circuit without a good title before your name!  A permanent "title" helps sell more books and bumps up those speaker fees after you leave office, baby!  Mo' Money, Mo' Money, Mac-Cayman style. =)

They are employees of the people. Any change to their terms of employment including their title should be subject to a refendum.

That's the next thing we need to push for.

Criticize the predictably tacky Premier all you want, it is the Speaker that has allowed all of his nonsense to carry. Her sworn duty is to reign this in, yet she is as silent and complicit as the Opposition. There are many conspiring supporting characters that coddle this dysfunctional regime, perhaps in hopes that it might continue to the next incumbents. Hopefully we can learn from these dark days and repeal the corrupt apparatus that has silenced debate and plunged us to the brink of direct taxation (if it isn't already too late). 300 years ago the crew would have had their swords drawn and a line of traitors would be awaiting their walk on the plank.

SOOO this is what they are doing all f'ing day? With the money they take from us? Figuring out how to give themselves pompous titles for life!? Really? Are they so obtuse to what is happening in this country? I'll give them a title for life SELF SERVING WASTE OF OXYGEN comes to mind.

They want to do this "Because of the burden of responsibility borne by those posts”? Are you shitting me? Has anyone but me noticed that the word "ACCOUNTABILITY" is never used in any discourse given by these morons. We should have laws that state: Any person who takes on the responsibility of representing the people of these Islands in any official position, shall and must be "ACCOUNTABLE" to such an extent, that if any law and/or regulation is broken,bent,skirted or violated in any way, for any reason, that causes loss of revenue and/or is not to the benefit of the people of these Islands financially, or otherwise, because of their "IRRESPONSIBILITY" and lack of ACCOUNTABILITY" Shall! Be it "THE PREMIER" and/or any member or members of "THE CABINET", be removed immediately from office, and their pensions frozen and forfeited to be used in RECOMPENSE for all the funds wasted. 

I'll venture to say there will  be no more so call NATION BUILDING PROJECTS etc. etc.etc. In this Island the greatest oxymoron is the phrase:  

"GOVERNMENTAL  ACCOUNTABILITY"

 

We must stop letting legislators write the Laws that Govern Us which keep them Living Large, a lot of us in the Poor House. They still put the screws to us even after they leave office. WHAT A SHAME!

 

 

I think any man, however elevated his position, should stick to matters temporal. The eternal is straying onto God's turf.

My speech lass nite on what we must do to boost our economy was  "WERRY WERRY" good and I tink dat all and SUN{as in very hot} DRY {as in arid} should find it "WERRY" enlightening. And make sure you vote NO so you'll have to address me as "ONERIBLE"

Does that include "Honourable Donkey Face" and Honourable Jackass?"

Now, nuff a dat!  They may be ignorant but they know how to pose, string lots of vacuous words and worn-out phrases together, and stick out their chests in their sunday best.  Empty suits aping what they think intelligent people look and sound like..  When they visit other countries, they confuse the respect for our money they throw around with respect for their silly titles, pompous attitudes, and ridiculous posturing.  Behind their backs and after they leave, for weeks those they astounded are laughing at these backward bouncing imperial potentates.

If he writes a memoir about his time in office it will likely resemble a how-to manual for the many ways a politician can distract the public from the real issues.

Don't you EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER forget that you work for me. You are a mere public servant hired by the voters of Cayman to serve us. You are at best an elected public servant and I have my doubts about that. Most of what you scheme is in private and doesn't serve the public at all.  The people of Cayman hired you and we can take you out. You were not hired by us to make a name for yourself. You were hired to serve honestly and with honor.

Titles should be reserved for Royalty. The only thing Royal about you is that you’re a Royal pain in the @@s.

 

 

If they are not honourable now why should they be hourable later. It is getting wierder by the minute.
