Weststar - Soccer

Recently Weststar has replaced live English Premier League soccer with utter dross sport - NCAA Volleyball and recorded mindless poker tournaments. What is going on?
They can only replace programming with content of "comparable quality" and they sure are not doing that!

Why is VH1 on Weststar showing a message "Congratulations, you have a Dish 500"??

I walked from Weststar nearly 10 years ago - never looked back.
Did you know, you can get Dish TV without harrassment if you have a US address (or a legit co offering the service of one)? You do not need cards and other stealing techniques. You pay less than local ripoff cable, more than the pirated signals that frequently get interupted, but you get quality TV ALL THE TIME!!!
Don't go to the pirates - you are guilty by association with their theft - pay the fees, be honest, but just have your boxes here in Cayman where Dish cannot legally sell direct, but will turn a blind eye if you are paying the fees legally.
Screw getting screwed - it sux!! I am all for shopping local - except where the local provider realises they have you by the short and curlies and there is nothing you can do to avoid being bent over the barrel...
Look what happened when Costly and Worthless lost their strangle-hold - we all got better prices and in a desperate bid for survival they had to rename themselves LAME - or is it SLIME? I am lost these days, but neither sound good to a committed DIGI user...

Weststar have been up to this trick for sometime, ever since they introduced their Sportsmax package at an additional monthly cost. Fox Soccer Channel would be replaced by the Speed channel for the duration of big games, which would miraculously be available on the Sportsmax channel. In essence they were charging twice for the same programming. This being Cayman the only recourse was to stop subscribing to Weststar and as another poster suggested, get DISH, which is what I did.
