Ways to reuse plastic bottles
I have a few methods that I currently employ to cut down on the level of plastic bottles I throw away, but am interested in hearing ideas from other people.
1) Save them for hurricane season (primarily gallon jugs) to fill with water when there is a threat.
2) Bore holes in them to make a "food toy" for my pets so that it a) takes them longer to eat, b) they have to 'work' as they would if they were in the wild (i.e. hunting) & not just chow down from a bowl.
3) Refill with water & carry them with me instead of buying more bottles of water.
4) Storage for small items (e.g. beads).
That's all I can think of at the moment. Very interested in hearing other ideas and I hope that mine will help someone.

re-use of plastic bottles
Cut off the bottom of a soda bottle.
Take off the cap.
Place the bottle neck first in soil (pots or outdoors)
Fill bottle with water..
This will water your plants slowly as the water drips into the soil. Ideal for when you are going on vacation and need to ensure your indoor plants are kept watered.
Another idea is to use bottle as a greenhouse for seeds and seedlings.
Cut bottle in half
Place over your seeds/seedlings and watch them grow OR just plant your seed/seedlings in bottle filled with soil
