REDUCTION IN PERCENTAGE OF PENSIONS PAID FOR CIVIL SERVANTS

Just a suggestion.  Why doesn't Government just pay 5% of Civil Servants Pensions instead of the whole 12%.  If the Government payroll for a year is estimated at $9,000,000.00 (and this is just guesstimating 2000 employees averaging $4,500.00 per month, they would be saving $630,000.00 per annum. I wish I had the real figures.

They could also think about not paying pensions for persons on overseas contracts.  As these persons are usually paid a lot more than the Caymanian employees, this would amount to a lot of savings for the C.I. Gov't.
