The North Side Member Should Apologize to Lord Blencathra and all Handicapped People of Cayman

Mr. Ezzard Miller has come under fire for his rantings of unwanted descriptions or categorization including terms related to deviance disability or diagnosis of a Physical disorder of a handicapped man. Not just any man but Lord Blencathra of the UK Cayman's representative.Mr.Miller referred to him as "Lord Cripple" a cold and callous adjective used against one that is disabled.This is not merely a label but is often adopted with a stigma defined as a Powerful negative label that unfortunately changes a person’s self-concept and social identity.

People in our society and Mr. Ezzard Miller himself has engaged in and accept this kind of behavior towards people like Lord Blencathra as "normal", But this is far from the truth. It is a kind of attitude that comes with a lack of common sense that whatever it is that others do, that deviates from their physical behavior or likeness is not "normal" and insensitive people like the independent Member for N. Side thinks that their disability should be either corrected or pointed out as "deviant" or as inferior! It is not surprising though that Cayman’s Sociologist Dr. Frank McField now courting the PPM and independents and one who often participates on our talk shows and media forums; has not even addressed Mr. Millers unacceptable behavior towards Lord Blencathra.We should take the time to understand why some people are handicapped and why we should respond to them as being human beings whose life is as valid as ours. It is not only what you say but it is a matter of not having your own personal character developed in its right. In my experience, those quick to point others as deviants or “Lord Cripples” to the norm, tend to have their own skeletons on their closets, and that's most likely the reason to start this judging and stereotyping, to make others look away from them as being disabled..and making such remarks makes what you say as "wrong." People Like Mr. Miller are insecure so they judge and make fun of others to cover up their insecurities Mr. Miller should apologize to not only Lord Blancathra but to all the handicapped people of Cayman if we are to show him respect as an elected official.
