Banker and arts guru receive royal gongs

(CNS): Former banker, Leonard Ebanks and the director of the Cayman National Cultural Foundation Henry Muttoo will now be able to add some letters to their name after they both appeared in the queen’s 2013 New Year’s honours list. Officials revealed Saturday that Ebanks received an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in recognition of services to economic development and the community while Muttoo (left) has become an Member of Order of the British Empire (MBE), for services to art and cultural heritage. I too agree Henry does
I too agree Henry does deserve his award for his dedication and hard work to the CNCF. One thing about Henry, as I have learned, is that before he put out anything to the public from CNCF, it must be well scruntinized by him, the right way or no way. Congrats. Henry.

Yes!! My numerous nominations of Henry Muttoo have finally borne fruit! Very well deserved and congrats Henry. Congrats also to Leonard, well deserved for a lifetime of service to banking and his community.
To Pas D. Over - get off it! if you knew Henry or ever worked with him you would know of his passion and committment to preserving arts and culture in Cayman and for introducing same from our Caribbean neighbours.

Congrats to Mr Henry Muttoo. He has certainly been one to have Cayman at heart and is liked by all. Also would like to congratulate Lana Ebanks from Lime on receiving Employee of the month of November. She too is well known and loved by all, and is one of the best Operators and Receptionist that you could ask for. A real asset for Lime. Only wish that all of the telephone operators was stationed here in Cayman, as it is so frustrating to have to call them in Jamaica and get information and they dont even know Cayman so they usually have a hard time assisting us.

Then where is the others? Dr Sedano, Dr Baredo, Dr Christian, Dr Marzuca, Dr Bromley, Dr Tomlinson, Dr Vivek, Dr Robertson and Dr Teeling?. Looks like we need a special award for our Doctors. By the way these Doctors are some of the best you can find around the world. We are grateful to have them here in Cayman.
