Yes, it sent a strong message to the UDP government

Yes, it showed that we have a heck of a lot of complainers here in Cayman, but not many who have the guts to stand up and be counted.
A peaceful and orderly
A peaceful and orderly demonstration like the one today shows that at least some Caymanians are prepared to make a stand and exercise our democratic rights without volience.
It actually makes Cayman look good in the eyes of the world, unlike the behaviour of McKeeva Bush who began his current term as Premier galavanting around the globe declaring that the Country was bankrupt. Not too broke apparently to spend a handy sum on unspecified "nation building" and to offer very generous and over the top concessions to developers who will not not even contribute financially to the infrastructure that their proposed developments will require. Something stinks to high heaven and today's march may be only the beginning unless the Government straightens up and flys straight.
